My journey with Keto and Intermittent Fasting began with a book my personal physician recommended: Fast Like a Girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz.
That book and its related YouTube videos opened my understanding of the true benefits of removing certain foods from my daily life and adding others that have brought big changes in my weight and my overall health.
Through this 11-month journey, I have found several like-minded physicians and scientists that also support a ketogenic lifestyle as the best for weight loss and health management. Listed below are several keto/carnivore proponents that I have learned from.
Some of these are Christians with a world view like my own, and others are not, but my interest in their scientific knowledge does not directly relate to my personal faith. I believe God provides answers to many problems in life through the world of science and that it is a matter Him showing us His methods and mind when mankind “discovers” how to use a plant or an animal or a microbe to make us healthier. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by a Father that always wants the best for us but also allows us to make personal choices.
Check out these and other “experts,” as I’m sure you’ll stumble onto others – some agreeing and some dissenting.
What a world of opportunity!
